Dodge Rocks Gas Monkey Concert to Feature Mötley Crüe
Calling all Dodge enthusiasts: the Dodge Brand, along with Richard Rawlings (the owner of Gas Monkey Garage) and Mötley Crüe, are hosting a massive party, including a car show and concert, for drivers of Chargers, Challengers, and Vipers. The event, called Dodge Rocks Gas Monkey, will be held on November 1st at Gas Monkey Live, which is a brand spankin’ new venue in Dallas, Texas.
While drivers have to figure out how to get to Dallas themselves, the concert and car show are absolutely free to drivers of Chargers, Challengers, and Vipers. There is a $100 vehicle deposit due at registration (at www.dodgerocksgasmonkey.com), but the deposit is refunded on site.
“Mötley Crüe, Richard Rawlings, Gas Monkey Live and Dodge muscle cars are all awesome by themselves,” commented Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO, Dodge and SRT Brands and Head of Fleet Operations, Chrysler Group LLC. “Put all four together with a full day celebration of Dodge’s 100th anniversary and you’ve got an event that will not only make the Dodge brothers proud, but also will be something that Dodge enthusiasts talk about for years. ‘Dodge Rocks Gas Monkey’ is a not-to-miss opportunity to help kick start Dodge’s next 100 years.”

Drivers who attend will receive two passes for the car show event, as well as the concert; both attendees must be 21 or over. Dodge promises that Gas Monkey Live will be perhaps the “most intimate venue Mötley Crüe has played in decades.” Mötley Crüe will actually be stopping in Dallas for this concert amidst the band’s All Band Things Must End “Final Tour.” And, of course, Dodge will be showing off the all-new 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, the fastest and most powerful sedan in the world.
Gates for the Dodge Rocks Gas Monkey event open at 3pm on the Saturday of November 1st with the car show beginning at 4pm and the concert beginning at 9pm. Leading up to the big headliner events, Dodge will also hold a number of activities in which to participate: Charger and Challenger simulators, Hellcat thrill rides, Viper drift cars, a local cover band, and airbrushed Dodge and real Hart and Huntington tattoos. There will also be food and drinks available for purchase.
