Dubai PD Adds 2015 Sierra to Already-Ridiculous Fleet
Dubai is known for, among other things, the world’s most ungodly expensive—and luxurious—police fleet. It’s not at all uncommon to see a police officer driving around in a Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren 12C, or Aston Martin One-77. Does any of this help the Dubai police in their efforts to stop crime? Probably not—unless it’s an instance where the world’s fastest police car is able to save precious time—but they sure do look a ton fancier doing it.
The latest edition to Dubai’s police fleet is a modified 2015 GMC Sierra that, while not quite as fast as an Aventador or a Veyron, is arguably just about as intimidating.

Yeah, that’s a fierce looking police vehicle.

Also worth noting: the Dubai Police have the coolest Twitter account ever. It’s peppered with tweets—in Arabic and reiterated in English—that divulge useful bits of info (e.g. “Drug user would not be prosecuted if he or she comes forward to the authorities to seek treatment for addiction”, “The Internet has become a means for privacy violation, if it falls in the hand of abusers! Beware of #Blackmail”). And, oh, that banner image!
We now return you to your regular-ass day, which is likely tons more mundane than that of a Dubai police officer.
