While some manufacturer discounts stem from a desire to remedy a model’s sales slump, this month’s GMC Canyon discount is an exception. Per GM Authority, Canyon sales have increased by nearly 24 percent to 11,909 units for Q2 2019. This marks a second-quarter sales record for the model.
To celebrate this achievement, GMC is offering 12-percent below MSRP on the 2019 Canyon. Here’s a brief overview of the discount, as well as some additional reasons to bring one home.
Midsized Majesty: Bring home a Canyon of your own
The deal
Per GM Authority, the 12-percent discount applies to most Canyon models this month, for current non-GM owners and lessees. The only stipulation is that you must finance the truck through GM Financial.
This month’s incentive features a $1,880 price reduction as well as a $3,615 purchase allowance. This equates to a total savings of $5,495 below MSRP on a shiny new 2019 Canyon.
To illustrate the savings, the SLE trim would cost you just $30,000. That’s a significant deal considering that the original MSRP for this trim is $35,495.
Appealing amenities of the 2019 Canyon
