Plenty of automakers have a minivan in their model lineup. But how many can claim to have a “Minnie” van?
Honda now can. After all, the Japanese automaker unveiled its Disney-themed “Minnie Van” at the D23 Expo.
A Choice the Whole Family Will Enjoy: Honda Odyssey Updates More Family-Friendly Than Ever
This one-of-a-kind Honda Odyssey is themed around Mickey’s main squeeze, Minnie Mouse. That meant Honda attaching a set of big old mouse ears and a bow to the top of the vehicle.
The Odyssey is also decked out in a bright pink exterior with white polka dots. Nevertheless, this special-edition Odyssey still possess much of the same technology and features that made the Honda minivan such a big hit in the first place.
“The all-new Odyssey was developed for modern families offering high-tech features, flexible seating and new styling, all aimed at keeping everyone in the family happy,” said Susie Rossick, Assistant Vice President of Honda Marketing. “In creating the MINNIE VAN that will be on display at the D23 Expo, we’re proud to partner with Disney-ABC and be inspired by the style of the most fashionable gal around – Minnie Mouse.”

The Minnie Van made an appearance last weekend in Anaheim, California at the D23 Expo, the largest convention for all things Disney. The vehicle was built to be a part of the “Minnie’s Style: The Fashion House of Minnie Mouse” exhibit, and it certainly appears to match her style.
Honda has also released a behind-the-scenes video exploring the creation of the vehicle and the history of Minnie Mouse. You can view said video below:
Of course, if you want to purchase this colorful set of wheels, then you’re unfortunately out of luck, just like Donald Duck. Only one of these Minnie Vans has been produced, and it is not up for sale.
However, you could in fact win a Honda Odyssey of your own, as well as a dream Disneyland Vacation, by entering Disney’s “Disney Unlock the Magic Sweepstakes.” The sweepstakes will officially air on Disney Channel and Disney Junior alongside the latest television series to star Minnie and Mickey, Mickey and the Roadster Racers.
As the Roadster Racers cartoon does involve an assortment of automotive antics, Disney and Honda have worked together to create custom content featuring both brands. Mickey and friends will race along with Honda’s latest rendition of the Odyssey in a collection of TV spots.
The “Minnie Van” wasn’t the only Minnie-themed vehicle Disney announced during D23. A fleet of polka-dotted Chevy Traverse vehicles will serve as an alternative to Uber at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
