After assessing the Jeep® Wrangler’s value, sales, quality and performance along with industry trends and, marketing strategies and pricing, ALG had little choice than to award the 2019 Wrangler with one of its Residual Value Awards for the second time. The new Jeep® Wrangler, which made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto show last year, earned the accolade in the Off-Road Utility segment.

“Jeep has a long and successful history in off-road utilities and the Wrangler combines function and comfort, adding new technology and powertrain offerings. This strong value proposition makes it no surprise to see the Wrangler win the Residual Value Award in the Off-Road Utility segment for the second year in a row,” said Eric Lyman, senior vice president of ALG.

The 2019 Wrangler is available at four trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon. It features a new engine option for improved performance — an intense 270 horsepower-rated 2.0-liter Direct-Injection Turbo that puts out 295 lb-ft of torque — for the 2019 model year. You can also opt for the standard 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine, which is rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, both engines enable the Wrangler model to tow a maximum of 3,500 pounds.

The Uconnect® 3 infotainment system with 5.0-inch touch-screen display and integrated Voice Command with Bluetooth® come standard while smartphone integration is possible with available Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility.
