2015 Mitsubishi Mirage ES in Sapphire Blue
The Mitsubishi Mirage, which has been one of the brand’s biggest movers over the course of the last year, has been named the Best Micro Car in the 2015 Australia’s Best Car awards.
As with most global best ofs, the 2015 Australia’s Best Car awards determined its winners through a combination of value, design, function, and performance. According to the judges, many of whom are affiliated with the Australian Motoring Clubs, the Mirage was the fittest in the segment that was being recognized in the awards for the first time.

“Mirage has been a great success story for Mitsubishi – its combination of great features, good looks, fuel efficiency, strong safety credentials and low running costs,” said Mitsubishi Motors Australia CEO Mutshiro Oshikiri.
“We are very proud to receive this award in recognition of the overall package the Mirage presents to value-conscious buyers.”
In Australia, the Mirage starts as low as $13,485 Australian/$11,217 USD, which is even cheaper than the impressive $12,995 US starting price. It was recently determined by Cars.com to be the most affordable new car on the market, as well as the most fuel efficient non-hybrid vehicle.
