Take a Closer Look at The Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition SUV
Yet another Star Wars film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will be hitting theaters in December. To celebrate, Lucasfilm has decided to partner with several brands to help promote the film. One of those is Nissan, and enthusiasts around the world have been counting the days until they could see the special Nissan Rogue made to commemorate the film. When the special edition, which turned out to be a pair of vehicles instead of just one, was revealed this month in Los Angeles, we bet the floor in the Los Angeles Convention Center was a little bit gross from fanboy drool.
The Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition is available in two colors: Glacier White to represent the stormtroopers, and Magnetic Black for the Death Troopers introduced in the new film. Both vehicles feature an exclusive Rogue One badge exclusive to the vehicle, and will come with an exclusive Death Troopers helmet. The car seems to be a bit confused, however, as it bears external decals that represent both sides of the Star Wars conflict, with the Galactic Empire logo appearing alongside the Rebel Alliance symbol.
This special edition is built onto a base of the 2017 Rogue SV, and is meant to promote and raise awareness of the recent upgrades Nissan’s bestselling vehicle. The Nissan plant in Smyrna, Tennessee has already begun to build the 5,400 vehicles that will make up this limited run. To learn about adding this earth-bound spaceship to your fleet, hurry to your trusted Nissan dealer for more details.
