Maybe you prefer to keep your vehicle’s interior super organized. Or perhaps it tends to be in a state of semi-organized chaos (like the “girlfriend” in the following video clip).
Spacious and Family-Friendly: Meet the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse
Rebecca BernardEvery car in my immediate family’s fleet has a simple prism/crystal hanging from fishing line in the rearview mirror. I think we first did it for luck, but now it’s just something we do. On a slightly more practical note, there is a pair of sneakers and a spare pair of dress shoes in my trunk just in case something happens. |
Caleb CookOur society hasn’t quite achieved total cashlessness, so I always keep several dollars’ worth of quarters stashed out of sight in my car. You never know when you might encounter a parking meter or gas-station air pump that only accepts coins. |
Daniel SuscoI like to keep a stack of napkins in the car. This is especially helpful after you go through a fast-food drive-thru and you are left with a monumental stack of napkins left over. So, I just like to toss them in the center console. Other than that, top billing has to go to a hydraulic car jack. Those screw-operated ones are just the worst, between taking forever to extend, requiring the stamina of a marathon runner to work all in one go, and tipping over at the slightest shake of the car. |
DeAnn OwensI like to keep at least two blankets in the car. (One for each of the boys, especially on cold days and/or long trips. Sharing one blanket is out of the question since it inspires bickering.) I have a ton of reusable bags for grocery store runs, napkins because we often eat on the go, and an Entertainment Book for its great selection of coupons (also good for narrowing down choices!). I’m pretty sure one of my tires has a slow leak, so there’s an air compressor in the trunk. There’s always a Frisbee in the trunk, too. |
