Vote to Choose Which Ferrari Will Be Featured in Assetto Corsa’s Upcoming DLC
2017 marks the 70th anniversary of Ferrari, that ever-enduring symbol of automotive speed, exoticism, and wealth. The luxury automaker is doing plenty to celebrate the milestone, as are some other entities unaffiliated with the brand, such as Kunos Simulazioni−the Italian game developer behind the Assetto Corsa racing simulator.
Kunos Simulazioni has recently announced an upcoming Ferrari 70th Anniversary pack to mark the achievement: a new DLC pack that will be available on PS4, Xbox, and PC via Steam. It will become available some time this fall and will feature seven of the most iconic cars Ferrari has produced throughout its history, including the most recent sports car out of Maranello.
- 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO
- 1967 Ferrari 330 P4
- 1967 Ferrari 312/67
- 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO
- 2004 Ferrari F2004
- 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast
Buying or Leasing: Which is best for you?
In addition, Ferrari has agreed to allow Kunos Simulazioni to produce an additional car for the DLC pack, based on the most-voted model out of a long list of eligible Ferrari cars that range from the Le Mans-winning Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa and the iconic Ferrari F50, to the Enzo Ferrari supercar and various race- and championship-winning cars, including the one competing in the current Formula One World Championship.
Fans will likely regret getting only one of the many excellent cars to choose from in the poll (linked below), though given Kunos Simulazioni’s apparently close relationship with the Italian manufacturer, it’s possible some of the other models on the list may also arrive to Assetto Corsa in the future.
