You Stay Classy, San Diego: Lincoln Chauffeur Service Launches in New Market

Lincoln on Friday announced that its Lincoln Chauffeur service is expanding to San Diego. The pilot program, which got underway earlier this year with services in Miami, is part of the brand’s growing personal services philosophy known as The Lincoln Way.

As the name might strongly suggest, Lincoln Chauffeur offers customers the option of contracting a skilled and pre-screened driver to shuttle them wherever they need to go in their vehicles instead of having to drive themselves. These chauffeurs are also able to fulfill menial tasks such as washing the vehicle, fueling up, or running errands.

Innovation in Expectation: Lincoln’s new Pickup & Delivery service makes ownership even easier

“This is just one more way we provide services to our clients,” says Eric Cin, Lincoln client services manager. “For Lincoln, it’s all about the experience. This service is generating a lot of interest among Lincoln owners. They’re using it for dinner dates, for doctor appointments; they’re recognizing just how convenient it is to have this option available.”

According to Automotive News, Lincoln Chauffeur costs $30 an hour.

Lincoln also recently launched its At-Home Test Drive program in the Houston and Dallas markets; through At-Home Test Drive, interested shoppers can have the Lincoln vehicle of their choice brought directly to their homes for the purposes of a test drive.

Lincoln also offers the Lincoln Service Valet service with all 2017 model year vehicles. Lincoln Valet Service permits Lincoln owners to have their vehicles picked up and taken to their preferred dealership for any necessary services and be left with a loaner vehicle for the duration of the service. Once all services have been completed, the valet returns the freshly-washed Lincoln back to the customer and retrieves the loaner.

Lincoln says that more than 15,000 rides were conducted from its launch in September through to the end of 2016, and it expects more than 50,000 rides to have been conducted by end-of-year.
