Mazda Sponsors Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series
The first order of business is the Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago Half Marathon beginning today and running through July 20. As Official Automotive Partner of the event, Mazda will have a significant presence in the form of “Team Mazda” runners and Mazda pace vehicles leading the pack toward the finish line.
“Mazda is a brand built on passion,” said Russell Wager, MNAO vice president of marketing. “Expanding our relationship with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series allows us to meet customers within their existing passion-points of music and running, all to build a natural affinity between their interests and our vehicles.”

Mazda will also have an interactive exhibit during the two-day Health & Fitness Expo, where fans can have their photos taken, enjoy free food and drink, and share their passions on an interactive #GAMECHANGER wall.
This weekend’s event features entertainment including jugglers and cyclists at the Daley Center Plaza; stilt walkers at Bank of America Plaza; and a finish line concert featuring Honey & the 45s and Cold War Kids.
