For the 2014 model year, the Sierra 1500 is built to be a refined workhorse. Striking new styling features combine with smart work-oriented design features to create a stylish pickup that can do whatever you need it to do. The cargo-box itself showcases some innovative engineering with a CornerStep rear bumper to provide easy access to anything that might be in the bed, four standard tie-downs, and LED box lighting to light up the box.

The available EcoTec3 5.3-liter V8 engine offers the best V8 fuel economy in the full-size pickup segment with 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque that can trailer up to 11,500 lbs with the available Max Trailering Package, while the 6.2-liter V8 offers the most powerful engine, getting 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. If you’re looking for something with a bit less oomph, the all-new 4.3-liter V6 boasts 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque while also getting some of the best fuel efficiency for a V6 in its segment.

Each of the three engines offers some pretty amazing fuel economy. The 5.3-liter V8 engine boasts an EPA-estimated 16 mpg city and 23 mpg highway, while the less powerful 4.3-liter V6 gets 18 city/24 highway mpg. Fuel economy numbers have yet to be released for the 6.2-liter V8.
