What’s New for the 2014 Toyota Tundra
Toyota has updated the exterior styling of the Tundra for 2014, and has loaded the interior with new available features. The Entune infotainment system is now available, and a rearview camera has been made standard equipment.

The smoother edges of the previous Tundra have been squared-off to deliver a more rugged exterior appeal for the 2014 model year, and the Tundra name has even been stamped into the tailgate to assert its command on road presence, which is only heightened by the 2014 Toyota Tundra’s standard 18-inch steel wheels and matte black lower front bumper.

The 2014 Toyota Tundra is offered with three capable powertrains. The base is a 4.0-liter V6 that produces 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque, and it’s up from there. The next engine is a 4.6-liter V6 that boost performance to 310 horsepower and 327 lb-ft of torque. The top-end 5.7-liter V8 pumps out 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque, which allows the Tundra to tow up to 10,400 pounds when properly equipped.

Fuel economy is at its highest with the 2014 Toyota Tundra’s base V6, which returns 16 mpg city and 20 mpg highway. The 4.6-liter V6 returns 15 mpg city and 19 mpg highway, while the high-performing V8 returns 13 mpg city and 18 mpg highway.

The revamped interior of the 2014 Tundra boasts premium material and even leather appointments in upper trims for a luxurious feel. Technology is no stranger to the 2014 Toyota Tundra, as a rearview camera is now standard in all trims, and available features include the Entune infotainment system with smartphone integration, navigation, seven-inch touchscreen display and HD radio.

Standard safety features on the 2014 Toyota Tundra includes trailer sway control, traction and stability control, antilock brakes, a rearview camera, and a comprehensive suite of airbags. Also available are rear parking sensors and a blind-spot monitoring system with rear cross-traffic alert.
