2015 Chevrolet Spark Model Overview
What’s New for the 2015 Chevrolet Spark?
For the 2015 model year, the Spark gains an enhanced OnStar that system that turns the car into a Wi-Fi hotspot with 4G LTE connectivity. Up to seven mobile devices can be connected at a time. Otherwise, the Spark remains the same as the 2014 model year.
2015 Chevrolet Spark Exterior
The Spark has tall, boxy proportions, which makes it look bigger than the average minicar. And, with its flavorful palette of available paint colors like Lemonade, Grape Ice, Lime, and Salsa, you’re sure to stand out from the crowd.
2015 Chevrolet Spark Performance
Powering the 2015 Spark is a 1.2-liter Ecotec four-cylinder. And, while it only puts out 84 horsepower, this should be more than enough to let the Spark take you where you want to go. A five-speed manual transmission is standard with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) available.
2015 Chevrolet Spark Efficiency
The Chevrolet Spark gets a respectable EPA-estimated 34 mpg combined with either transmission. On the highway, you’ll see 39 mpg and 32 mpg in the city with the five-speed manual.
2015 Chevrolet Spark Interior
Despite its small stature, you really can fit four adults comfortably inside. The interior design is straightforward with no frills, but is brightened up by body-colored accents on the dash and doors. The instrument panel is “motorcycle-influenced” with easy-to-use digital readouts. You’ll also find an abundance of storage spaces. If you opt for the LT trim, you’ll get a seven-inch color touchscreen on the dash.
2015 Chevrolet Spark Safety
Compact cars have long battled the idea that they are unsafe. The Spark proves that wrong with its high marks in crash tests. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), named the Spark a 2015 Top Safety Pick. The Spark also comes standard with 10 airbags and electronic stability control. It offers good visibility from the driver’s seat.
