The 2016 Hyundai Sonata is available with a 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder twin-scroll turbo engine good for 178 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The new Sonata is also available with Android Auto, which allows occupants to integrate their smartphone features and apps with the Sonata’s touchscreen, in order to create an even more luxurious and entertaining riding experience.

The SE, Sport, and Limited trims all come with a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine matched with a six-speed automatic transmission, which work together to produce 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. The Eco trim packs a 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder twin-scroll turbo engine and seven-speed EcoShift® dual clutch transmission that’s good for 178 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The Sport 2.0T and Limited 2.0T both feature a more powerful 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder twin-scroll turbo engine combined with a six-speed automatic transmission that generate 245 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
