2016 Kia Sorento Debut Set for Los Angeles Auto Show
It was announced this week that the all-new Kia Sorento CUV will have its official premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which begins later this month.
With a redesigned interior and exterior, the new Kia Sorento will also boast an increased size when compared to last year’s model (during its European unveiling, Kia claimed the new model had 17.5 percent more cargo space). The 2016 Sorento features three rows of seating, and is available in five different trim levels: L, LX, EX, SX and SXL. The pricier trims feature those orange turn signals and chrome rims and accents that are pictured above.
Aside from that, Kia has not released much information in advance of the 2016 Kia Sorento debut on November 18th. We do know that the European version has a 2.4-liter gasoline direct injection engine that yields 182 horsepower, which we would expect to see in the American version that’s coming to LA. The European 2016 Kia Sorento also carries the option of two different diesel engines, which are not expected to be offered here in the US.
