2017 Chevrolet Traverse Overview
The crossover SUV segment is one of the most crowded in the industry, but the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse manages to stand out from the crowd. This crossover’s interior is spacious with seating for up to eight passengers, while also offering an abundance of cargo space when the second- and third-row seats are folded down. The Chevrolet Traverse offers luxurious appointments on its upper trim levels, while also keeping things comfortable—and affordable—on the lower trims. No matter what your needs (or your budget), the Traverse crossover is a great option for your family.

What’s New for the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse
For the 2017 model year, the Chevrolet Traverse hasn’t changed much since the 2016 model. The former LTZ trim level, which was formerly the top-of-the-line trim, is now called the Premier. Other than that, there are no changes.
The 2017 Chevrolet Traverse comes in five trims: Base LS, LS, 1LT, 2LT, and Premier.

When it comes to style, the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse doesn’t hold back. A sloping roofline and rounded edges add a small touch of elegance to the Traverse’s exterior, while its simple front-end design adds a punch of sophistication that isn’t typically found in the crossover market. The design itself is very characteristic of the Chevrolet lineup, combining standard 17-inch steel wheels and chrome accents to create a high-end look that is surprisingly affordable.

2017 Chevrolet Traverse Efficiency
Because of its powerful V6 engine, the 2017 Traverse doesn’t get the greatest gas mileage, though it is average for its class. EPA-estimated fuel economy comes in at 15 mpg city and 22 mpg highway for the front-wheel-drive models, which is a combined 18 mpg. The all-wheel-drive models get a slightly lower rate with 17 mpg combined.

2017 Chevrolet Traverse Interior
There are few competitors in the crossover segment that can keep up with the Traverse when it comes to interior space. This crossover has an abundance of head- and legroom for its passengers, even in the third row. Throughout the cabin, consumers will notice a simple, yet elegant design and good quality materials. A standard 6.5-inch touchscreen helps keeps the driver connected and displays images from the rearview camera. It also is the control center for Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system. Each trim level has a touch of sophistication, which makes it easy to find the right Traverse trim for your family.
