“The priorities of luxury shoppers may have changed over the years, pivoting from plush to performance-oriented, but some things will never change. Luxury buyers expect top-notch materials and build quality from the cabins of their cars,” according to U.S. News & World Report writer George Kennedy.
The 2019 Chevy Corvette earned a U.S. News Overall score of 9.0/10, and was praised by Kennedy for its driver-focused cockpit.
“The Corvette has neat packaging — for instance, the passenger toggle for the dual-zone climate controls is located by the right-side cabin air vent. The rear cargo area can hold two golf bags or store the roof panel for open-air driving,” notes Kennedy.
In addition to its well-equipped interior, which includes power-adjustable front seats and leather upholstery as standard features, the 2019 Corvette’s interior is well-connected with smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A nine-speaker Bose audio system, Bluetooth, push-button start, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and 8-inch touch screen are also standard. For a more comfortable ride, you can opt for competition sport seats equipped with distinct side bolsters and heated and ventilated seats. The 2019 Corvette has space for two and zero connectors to secure a car seat.
