2019 Chrysler Pacifica Makes Autoblog’s List of Best New Crossover and SUV Alternatives
If you’re looking for a substitute to an SUV or crossover, consider the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica, which just made Autoblog’s List of Best New Crossover and SUV Alternatives. The editors report their list of vehicles offers SUV and crossover-benefits without their limitations.
The only minivan to make it onto the list is the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica. Praised for its efficiency, looks, and crossover-rivaling practicality, the 2019 Pacifica has a lot to offer drivers ready for a different driving option than the popular SUV/crossover models.
“The new Pacifica, which combines some of the cleverest features of its predecessor (and a few from its rivals) into an inherently practical and — dare we say — attractive package,” report the Autoblog staff. “The regular Pacifica’s nine-speed automatic’s significant weight loss make it one of the most efficient vehicles this size around, and the hybrid model should blow the rest of segment out of the water.”
The editors also appreciated the style upgrades on the new model.
“For 2019, there are a couple new colors and some trim and interior revisions. Minivans might not be cool yet, but they sure look compelling when you measure the Pacifica up against its three-row crossover rivals,” note the Autoblog editors.
The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica is available at six trim levels: L, LX, Touring Plus, Touring L, Touring L Plus, and Limited. These trims are equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 to churn out 287 horsepower. Standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility allows for easy, seamless smartphone integration while an extensive list of standard safety features and driver assist technologies including Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection deliver greater confidence on the road.
