2019 Ford F-150 Limited Gets Raptor’s 450-Horsepower V6, Represents Peak TRUUUUUUUCK
The 2019 Ford F-150 Limited will be offered with the 450-horsepower EcoBoost engine offered in the Raptor, making the Blue Oval’s most opulent truck its most powerful.
“F-150 Limited customers create their own success. The truck is their reward,” said Todd Eckert, Ford truck group marketing manager. “They wanted more power, so we combined Raptor’s engine with Limited’s business-class features to deliver Baja fierceness, boardroom style, and the grit to tackle tough jobs.”
You heard it here first, folks: Baja on the dunes, business in the boardrooms.

The addition of Ford’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost and its output of 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque is the most notable upgrade for the F-150 Limited, but it’s far from the only one. The 2019 Ford F-150 Limited gets a new dual exhaust system that sees the tips integrated into new rear bumper cutouts and new Camel Back two-tone leather for the interior.
The interior of the F-150 Limited is more befitting a luxury brand than America’s preeminent mainstream automaker, offering leather-wrapped instrument panels and door handles, a Miko suede headliner, gradated ash swirl trim, and a laser-etched plaque on the center console armrest. In improving the Limited for 2019, no detail was too small, which is evident in the decision to enlarge the holes microperforated into its leather seats for better cooling.
The 2019 Ford F-150 Limited will also be the most intelligent truck on the road with technologies ranging from class-exclusive Pro Trailer Backup Assist to a FordPass Connect 4G LTE modem with Wi-Fi for up to 10 devices to a B&O PLAY audio system by HARMAN. From top to bottom, the F-150 Limited is just so much TRUUUUUUUCK, and it’ll all be available later this year.
