Performance

All 2019 Hyundai Sonata trims except for the Limited 2.0T feature a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that’s connected to a six-speed automatic transmission and makes 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. The Limited 2.0T carries a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Twin-Scroll Turbo engine, which is mated to a eight-speed automatic transmission and delivers 245 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.


Efficiency

The 2019 Hyundai Sonata SE trim gets 26 mpg in the city, 35 mpg on the highway, and 29 mpg combined. The SEL, Sport, and Limited trims get 25 mpg in the city, 33 mpg on the highway, and 28 mpg combined. The Limited 2.0T trim gets 23 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway, and 26 mpg combined.


Interior

Even the 2019 Hyundai Sonata’s base SE trim offers an array of desirable interior features, including premium cloth seating, metal grain accents, a 7-inch color touch-screen display audio system, Bluetooth, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone syncing. Higher trims add heated and ventilated leather front seats, wireless charging, a 10-speaker premium audio system, and a panoramic sunroof.
