“This year, competition for Truck of the Year with the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press was very intense and exciting with three very worthy trucks making the final vote,” said Craig Conover, president of RMAP. “After a vote from all the members of RMAP, it was a clear choice for the new Ram 1500 to be awarded Truck of the Year in the Denver region.”

For the 2019 model year, the Ram 1500 boasts impressive features including the pickup segment-leading 12-inch touch screen as part of the advanced Uconnect 4C infotainment system and a lighter weight that doesn’t sacrifice capability. In fact, the award-winning truck can tow 12,750 pounds. A revolutionary eTorque mild hybrid system allows for increased fuel efficiency. Plus, the Ram 1500 offers V6 and V8 engine options, so drivers can pick the ideal powertrain for their needs.

“The 2019 Ram 1500 with eTorque mild hybrid system is the benchmark for efficiency and durability with a high level of technology and luxury unexpected in a pickup truck,” said Reid Bigland, Head of Ram Brand. “Recognition from the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press Association further solidifies our efforts in the design, engineering and manufacturing of the Ram 1500.”
