If parking is the driving maneuver that most fills you with dread, you’ll be relieved to hear that the 2019 Ram 1500 has the technology you need to face your parking-related fears. The beloved, highly-capable and tech-savvy truck was just named to U.S. News & World Report’s list of the 20 Best Self-Parking Cars in 2018.

“The completely redesigned 2019 Ram 1500 has an available parallel and perpendicular park assist feature. The most inexpensive way to get it is by choosing the Rebel trim and adding the $3,000 Level 2 Equipment Group. It provides active guidance and automatic steering as you engage the gears, brakes, and accelerator,” according to U.S. News & World Report writer Steven Loveday.

The 2019 Ram 1500 has already earned several accolades — a Best Buy title from the Le Guide de l’Auto/The Car Guide, a Top Pick Award from autoTRADER.ca, a spot on WardsAuto’s 10 Best Engines List for 2019, and the Truck of Texas honor from the Texas Automotive Writers Association while the 2019 Ram 1500 Longhorn earned the title of Southwest Lifestyle Truck of the Year from the Southwest Lifestyle Media Group.

The attention-getting and award-winning truck is available at five trim levels: Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn®, and Limited. You have the choice of two cab configurations — Quad Cab and Crew Cab; two box lengths — 6-foot-4 inches and 5-foot-7-inches; and two drivetrains — 4×2 and 4×4. You can opt for the standard 3.6-liter V6 with eTorque mild hybrid system, the available 5.7-liter V8 HEMI® or the available 5.7-liter V8 HEMI® with eTorque.
