2019 Volkswagen Jetta Is in the Running for Green Car of the Year® Title
The Green Car Journal has singled out the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta as a finalist for its esteemed award, the 2019 Green Car of the Year®. The pub’s staff was impressed by the 2019 Jetta’s innovative engineering, impressive fuel economy, style, and lush interior.
“Built on VW’s MQB platform, the seventh-generation Jetta offers a bolder design, greater interior space, lots of tech, and an EPA-estimated 40 highway mpg fuel efficiency rating, a milestone often achieved by hybrid powertrains, but in this case delivered by the Jetta’s 1.4-liter TSI®-gasoline engine,” said Ron Cogan, editor and publisher of Green Car Journal and GreenCarJournal.com.
