The all-new 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid Titanium is among the most fuel-efficient SUVs on the road today, delivering an EPA-estimated 44 mpg in the city, 37 mpg on the highway, and best-in-class 41 mpg combined. With available all-wheel drive, the 2020 Escape Hybrid Titanium is still impressively efficient with an estimated 43 mpg in the city, 37 mpg on the highway, and 30 mpg combined.

Speaking of Fuel-Efficient Fords: 2020 Ford Escape gets over 500 miles of range on a single tank

Ford says that the average American only drives about 29 miles a day, which means that drivers with a 2020 Escape Hybrid likely won’t have to use fuel all that often. For longer trips, the all-new Escape Hybrid is a solid and fuel-sipping choice, delivering an EPA-estimated 582 miles of range with a full tank with FWD (or 568 miles with AWD) — that’s enough to cover more than one half of The Proclaimers’ trip, which is where you drive 500 miles and then drive 500 more to be the man (or woman) to have driven 1,000 miles and park in someone’s driveway.

“This all-new Escape Hybrid is our best one yet, as it answers the call from our customers who loved the original Escape Hybrid but want better fuel efficiency without compromising interior space,” said Hau Thai-Tang, Ford chief product development and purchasing officer. “Plus, with driving range like no Escape before, we’re giving our customers a vehicle truly capable of letting them focus on living their lives while worrying less about stopping for gas.”

2020 Ford Escape Hybrid Titanium EV coach

What’s more, every 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid Titanium boasts an EV coach feature, offered with the 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, that lets you see when you’re using battery power and when you’re using fuel. This allows you to adapt your drive accordingly and ensure that you’re getting the best fuel economy possible. Oh, and the Escape is also stylish and spacious and just generally kind of rad. It also recently earned the IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK, so it’s saaaaaafe, too!

The 2020 Ford Escape will also be available as a plug-in hybrid later in 2020. Expect details on that one in the months ahead.

Speaking of Rad: Does it get radder than the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 and its bonkers 760 horsepower?
