Demonstrating that it brings more to the table than size, Hyundai’s big new flagship SUV earned a spot on the 2019 Wards 10 Best UX list for its impressive array of user-friendly — and family-friendly — features.

WardsAuto editors spent two months judging the user experiences delivered by 23 vehicles to determine which ones would make the final list of 10 — going so far as to use the competing models on their regular commutes to more accurately assess each one’s day-to-day usefulness and livability.

According to these judges, the 2020 Hyundai Palisade made the list thanks to helpful features in all three rows — including intuitive displays, easily programmable navigation, reliable safety technologies, and charging ports for everyone aboard.

“The Wards 10 Best UX recognition reaffirms the importance of convenient and helpful technologies inside a vehicle,” said Scott Margason, Hyundai Motor America’s director of product planning. “The hours of research and real-world evaluations by our engineering community are seen in the all-new Palisade with the user-friendly displays, high-quality materials, and a suite of advanced safety systems all at an outstanding value compared to the competition.”

User-friendly Palisade infotainment features include simple controls, seamless smartphone integration, large navigation and instrument cluster screens, and available options like a heads-up display, the Blind View Monitor, and wireless charging.

The Palisade’s driver can easily monitor and communicate with passengers in the third row thanks to a conversation mirror and the Driver Talk intercom system. Seven available USB ports help keep everyone’s devices charged, and special roof vent diffusers allow rear passengers to control the flow of cool or warm air in their seats.
