The SENSORY trim level
Last year, the INFINITI Q50 only offered the PURE, LUXE, and RED SPORT trims. For 2021, the model will also offer the penultimate SENSORY trim. The SENSORY model comes with a 16-speaker Bose sound system, black open-pore interior wood trim, and leather upholstery. It also features the same unique fascia found on the RED SPORT model, along with the range-topping trim’s power-folding, auto-dimming exterior mirrors.
But looks aren’t everything — under the hood, the SENSORY model has much more in common with the rest of its siblings. Like the PURE and LUXE models, the SENSORY has a 300-horsepower engine, while the RED SPORT maintains its exclusive hold over the 400-horsepower V6 mill. The new SENSORY trim starts at $47,600, while the RED SPORT boasts a starting MSRP of $57,750.
Other updates
For the 2021 model year, the Q50 gained additional standard driver-assist technology. Now, every model is equipped with the following features: Blind Spot Warning; High Beam Assist; an Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection; Intelligent Cruise Control; Distance Control Assist; Backup Collision Intervention, and Lane Departure Warning, which now includes haptic steering feedback.
RED SPORT models now offer a Black Matte Carbon Fiber interior and exterior trim package. You can also choose from two new exterior colors on the Q50: Slate Gray and Grand Blue.
