Finance-Savvy: Signs that you have a good car lease
Happy Zoo Year (Cincinnati)
Head to the Cincinnati Zoo on Dec. 31 from 5-9 p.m. to experience an animal-themed New Year’s event. This year’s activities will include Madcap Puppets, party favors and costume characters, and an early countdown with a grand finale fireworks display from Rozzi Fireworks. It’s a great way to celebrate New Year’s Eve while still getting young ones to bed at a decent hour.
New Year’s Eve Blast (Cincinnati)
For another family-friendly event, head to Fountain Square’s New Year’s Eve Blast on Dec. 31. The partying begins at 8 p.m. and continues through 1 a.m. on Jan. 1. Mix 94.9 is hosting and providing music for this extravaganza. Enjoy ice skating, participating in games, and snacking on yummy food as you wait for the firework display at midnight.
New Year’s Eve: Bella Italia! (Dayton)
Catch the annual New Year’s Eve concert at the Schuster Center in Dayton on Dec. 31 for a musical transition into 2020. This year’s event has an Italian theme and will feature the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as guest appearances from two Dayton Opera vocalists. The concert begins at 8 p.m. and finishes around 10 p.m., so you’ll have plenty of time to get safely home before midnight.
New Year’s Eve Gala on the Nautica Queen (Cleveland)
Party it up Cleveland-style when you reserve tickets for the New Year’s Gala onboard the Nautica Queen. The cruise departs at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 and runs through l 1 a.m. on Jan. 1, and features dancing, a live DJ, an unlimited buffet, party favors, hors d’oeuvres, and more.
Bollywood NYE Party at Hilton Polaris (Columbus)
The Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Polaris will host a Bollywood New Year’s Eve party on Dec. 31. Sponsored by B3E, the festivities start at 9 p.m. and continue through 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Activities include dancing, Bollywood music, photo and selfie booths, kid-friendly pastimes, hors d’oeuvres, and a live NYC ball drop and countdown.
