The new 2017 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck
Today Honda released official EPA data and pricing figures for the newly redesigned 2017 Ridgeline, which starts at $29,475 and is priced as high as $42,870 for the top-level “Black Edition.”
All Ridgeline models feature a direct-injected 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, and are available with either a two-wheel drive or all-wheel drive powertrain. The 2WD models yield an EPA-estimated 19 mpg in the city, 26 mpg on the highway, and 22 mpg combined. The AWD Ridgeline offers slightly diminished returns; with a fuel economy slash line of 18/25/21 mpg in city/highway/combined traffic.
The most affordable version of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline will be the 2WD version of the base RT trim, which carries an MSRP of $29,475 (not including $900 destination fee). Opting for AWD raises the price to $31,275. Both come equipped with Bluetooth, USB, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and a 5-inch infotainment system with a backup camera interface.

The RTS trim, priced at $31,515 for 2WD and $33,315 for AWD models, adds three zone automatic climate control and keyless entry to the list of standard features. The Sport version provides styling enhancements at a cost of $33,015 for 2WD and $34,815 for AWD models.
The RTL trim ups the number of creature comforts, including leather upholstery, heated front seats, and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, at a price of $33,780 for 2WD models and $37,730 for AWD models. A step above, the RTL-T ($35,930 for 2WD, $37,730 for AWD) has additional aspects such as LED daytime running lights and an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability.
The top-of-the-line RTL-E trim is available only on AWD Ridgeline models, and for $41,370 features lane departure prevention, a sunroof, adaptive cruise control, and those cool truck bed speakers. And finally, you can make it look pretty snazzy if you opt for the Black Edition, priced at $42,870.
