Hub City New Year’s Eve Ball
For an elegant night on the town that benefits a good cause, head to The Bottling Company for the Hub City New Year’s Eve Ball. Festivities start at 7:30 p.m. and continue through 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 1. Admission price includes a buffet dinner and hors d’oeuvres as well as live music, a cash bar, and a fireworks display outside. All proceeds from the ball go to support Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center in Hattiesburg, a nonprofit that connects abused children with the resources they need to heal and grow.
New Year’s Eve Party & Oyster Ball Drop
Pay homage to the new year in a seafood-themed way when you attend Biloxi’s New Year’s Eve Party & Oyster Ball Drop. Cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres will keep you energized throughout the night as you dance and party the night away. The highlights of the event are the Oyster Ball, which drops from the top of the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum, and a fireworks display. Feel free to stick around afterward for coffee and donuts. Tickets are limited, so make sure to reserve yours as soon as possible.

Going Extinct: New Year’s Eve Glow Party
For a family-friendly celebration, attend the New Year’s Eve Glow Party at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science from 6-8 p.m. The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is sponsoring this animal-themed event. Engage with the museum’s “Dinosaurs Around the World” exhibit before it becomes a thing of the past. Guests are encouraged to wear black-light reactive outfits and glow bracelets. A live nocturnal animal show, door prizes, and a glow-stick trail hike are three other activities to partake in.
