Step inside and discover an immersive (excuse the pun) museum all about this massive ship, complete with authentic artifacts and replicas of the cabins. You can even climb the famous Grand Staircase and dip your hand into some bitterly cold, 28-degree ocean water to see what the shipwrecked people endured.

You might think a Nashville car museum would feature the sparkling cars of country music superstars — not wacky, weird, and wonderfully absurd concept cars from days gone by. But those misfit cars take center stage at the Lane Motor Museum. From the all-wood Martin Stationette to a car with an airplane propeller, the Lane Motor Museum showcases some of the wildest ideas in automotive design.

Constructed for the 1982 World’s Fair, this shining symbol of Knoxville was once home to a full-service restaurant and an observation deck. While the impressive building went unoccupied when the fair ended until it was renovated and reopened for public use in 2007. Now, it’s a convention center, a host for businesses, and a free tourist attraction. Check out the observation deck for an unforgettable 360-degree view of the city.
