City of the Dead Drive-In Haunted House
If you’re searching for a haunted activity for your teens, reserve tickets to experience “City of the Dead: Drive In Haunted House” in Denver. Held on select nights in October, this event features a multimedia haunted show projected on a 40-foot screen while costumed characters help bring the movie to life. Visit City of the Dead’s website to get tickets and to find out more about this unique experience.
If you have younger children, mark your calendar for Englewood’s Halloween Drive Up Show on Oct. 31. Held on Main Street at Kids City, this free event will take place from 4-7 p.m. Children will receive bags of candy at the end of the show to take home. Pre-register ahead of time to reserve your designated time slot for experiencing this show, since showtimes are staggered to help with social distancing.

Advertised as an original horror-comedy from Audacious Theatre, “Murder at the Drive-In” is an interactive murder mystery/drive-in movie event for Edgewater locals. Per the event’s website, attendees will observe the show from their vehicles as the show is depicted via movie screen and radio, as well as masked performers who will keep a safe (yet spooky) distance. Book tickets to reserve your spot to experience the show on select evenings during Oct. 22-31.
NoCo’s Greatest Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat Experience
Join the community of Loveland when you ring in Halloween at The Ranch Events Complex on Oct. 31. This venue will host NoCo’s Greatest Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat Experience from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s a safe alternative for kids to collect candy this holiday if you don’t feel comfortable going door-to-door to gather goodies during the pandemic.
Register ahead of time to claim your 30-minute time slot to help keep this event as socially-distanced as possible. Though this event is free, donations are accepted to help offset the costs of putting this celebration together.
Check out these Halloween drive-thru events in Missouri and Texas, if you prefer to go out of state for the holiday.
