Even wienermobiles aren’t immune to the effects of wintery driving conditions. That much was evident when the famous Oscar Mayer Wienermobile hit a slippery patch of road and crashed bun-first into a pole in Enola, Pennsylvania, yesterday. Nobody was hurt in the accident, although the vehicle did sustain some pretty hefty damage to its front bun and windshield.

Onlookers marveled at the odd accident, while traffic moved slowly through the town as drivers navigated their way around the hotdog-shaped car, presumably stopping to snap pictures.
Not much is known about the incident, but the wienermobile will certainly be out of service for a while. No news yet on whether the repair will be performed by a mechanic or a butcher.
