Three new packages planned for the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 could be good news for buyers seeking extra options at a (presumably) attractive price.
These “value packages” bring together multiple smaller packages and available features, with each one aimed at a specific Silverado trim.

The WT Value Package is designed for the Silverado’s entry-level WT trim and is available now at a discounted price of $1,015. It combines a pair of previously existing packages: the WT Convenience Package and the Trailering Package. Features include:
- Remote Keyless Entry
- Cruise control
- Tinted windows
- Rear-window defogger
- Power mirrors
- Power windows
- Power locks
- Trailer hitch with seven-pin and four-pin connectors
- Hitch Guidance technology

LT Value Package
Built for the Silverado LT, the LT Value Package includes items from the Remote Start Package and Trailering Package, along with a selection of other upgrades. It’ll cost buyers an extra $880 (with the current discount) and offers these features:
- Remote Start
- Rear-window defogger
- Content theft alarm
- Trailer hitch with seven-pin and four-pin connectors
- Hitch Guidance technology
- All-weather floor liners
- 18-inch Bright Silver aluminum wheels
- All-terrain blackwall tires

RST Value Package
The RST Value Package can be added to the Silverado’s RST trim. Priced at a discounted $855, it comes with the Trailering Package and a variety of other features:

- All-weather floor liners
- 20-inch aluminum wheels with Argent metallic pockets
- All-terrain blackwall tires
2020 Silverado 1500 models outfitted with these packages should be arriving soon at Chevrolet dealerships around the country.
