It’s all in the details

This 1958 model incorporated metallic paint and custom diamond engraving from Rohan Izawa Art Design for an intricately-designed exterior. It’s just one of the latest manifestations of artist Takahiko Izawa’s self-invented metal paint and a unique engraving technique that he applies to vehicle body surfaces. Per ClassicCars.com contributor Larry Edsall, Izawa spent hours employing stencils and sculpting the painted surfaces of the Impala to achieve a shiny, 3D effect. The paint is also resistant to bleaching out and darkening due to UV exposure.

Check out the video clip below from the car’s appearance at SEMA 2018. It gives a brief glimpse at the level of detail that went into crafting this piece of art.
