Audi A3 Is 2014 World Car of the Year
Today marks the second press day of the New York International Auto Show in New York City, and we kicked it off right with the 2014 World Car of the Year Awards. The all-new 2015 Audi A3 took top honors this year, beating out the Mazda3 and the BMW 4 Series. The A3, which boasts features such as 4G connectivity and Google Earth, just recently went on sale and is already seeing great success.
The 2014 World Car of the Year Awards were actually dominated by German automakers. While the A3 took home the overall 2014 World Car of the Year Award, the BMW i3 was named both World Green Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year. The Porsche 911 GT3, despite recent engine woes, took home the World Performance Car of the Year, and the World Luxury Car of the Year went to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
