Automotive Science Group Honors 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid
The Best All-Around Performance award was bestowed upon the 2019 Chrysler Pacific Hybrid. This is the third year in a row that the popular minivan has earned top honors from the Automotive Science Group. Also a three-peat honor, is the Pacifica Hybrid’s Best Environmental Performance award from the automotive experts.

“The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid furthers FCA’s position in the ASG 2019 study with its 32-mile all-electric range and advanced gas-electric combination that not only reduces emissions, but also significantly reduces fuel costs by leveraging the increasingly cleaner U.S. power grid as a fuel source,” said Colby Self, managing director at ASG. “The plug-in remains unrivaled in the minivan segment, providing the best all-around performance in its class since the model was first introduced in 2017.”
The 2019 Pacifica Hybrid is available at three well-equipped trim levels— Touring Plus, Touring L, and Limited. A 3.6-liter V6 eHybrid engine is mated to an eFlite Single Input Electrically Variable Transmission. This powertrain puts out 260 horsepower.
Stops at the pump are less frequent thanks to the award-winning minivan’s all electric range of 31 miles and an EPA-estimated combined rating of 82 MPGe. The Pacifica Hybrid is the only minivan that boasts electric power, and was recently recognized by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada for its eco-friendly powertrain. The automotive experts rated the 2019 Pacifica Hybrid as the Best EV in Canada.
