Big Increase in October Sales for Kia Soul and Forte
Kia Motors America (KMA) sold 48,977 units this October, with the Soul and Forte impressively outshining the other models in the Kia lineup. Not only did these models outdo the others, they performed the best they ever have in the history of Kia. Coming close to the Soul and Forte in sales were the Sorento and Optima models. Additionally, year-to-date overall sales went up 2.8% for the Korean automaker.
Always Innovative: How Kia is constantly on the cutting edge
“Despite industry-wide challenges, the second-best October performance in company history helped Kia outpace the overall industry once again,” said Michael Sprague, chief operating officer and EVP, KMA. “Over the last ten years the ‘New Kia’ has transformed into a recognized leader in design, quality and technology, and Interbrand’s recent report details the ‘spectacular growth’ that has led to a seven-fold increase in Kia’s estimated brand value since 2006.”
Kia recently announced a new, autonomous Kia Soul First Class concept at the 2016 SEMA auto show in Las Vegas, along with four other lifestyle-inspired concept vehicles, which furthers the notion that Kia is on the cutting edge of technology and design.
