Add a third row to the new 2019 Chevrolet Blazer and you’ll end up with something a lot like the FNR-CarryAll Concept SUV.

Chevrolet introduced the FNR-CarryAll this past weekend at the 2018 Guangzhou Auto Show in China. The CarryAll name is a throwback to Chevy’s original SUV from 1935, the Suburban CarryAll. Chevy says the concept is also inspired by the Camaro sports car.

“In Chevrolet’s second-largest market, we will continue to strengthen our brand’s appeal by introducing products that embody our youthfulness, performance DNA, and innovation,” said Scott Lawson, general director of Chevrolet for GM’s China operations.

The design of the FNR-CarryAll features a contemporary, streamlined look — quite similar to the new Blazer, with roof modifications that allow for an independent six-seat layout.

The FNR-CarryAll’s exterior is painted in Pearl Black, featuring a bold front face and a boomerang D-pillar design. A sport-inspired air extractor is built into the hood. A panoramic sunroof is integrated into a carbon-fiber roof. Other exterior features include 22-inch aluminum alloy wheels, red Brembo brake calipers, and carbon ceramic rotors.

The FNR-CarryAll’s sophisticated interior features a 12-inch full LCD dashboard and a 10-inch touch-screen center console. The second row offers a smart touch screen and climate controls. Interior design features include red backlit accent lighting, illuminated door and trunk sill plates, Camaro-inspired circular air vents, and cantilever-style two-tone black leather sport seats with red suede accents.
