Chrysler Group Dominates Consumer Digest Best Buys List
Chrysler Group is racking up the victories this week. Not only did the Jeep Wrangler just win the Hottest 4×4-SUV award at SEMA for the fifth year in a row, but it also claimed seven spots on this year’s Consumer Digest Best Buys list.
For each category on the Consumer Digest Best Buys list, the organization typically names the top three, though in some categories, a top two, four, five, or seven was named.
The Chrysler Group newcomer to the list was the 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan. The luxurious and updated 200 earned its top spot in the Family Cars category.
“The 200 puts Chrysler solidly in the U.S. family sedan picture,” said Rich Dzierwa, Editor, Consumers Digest. “The 200 sedan’s recognition as a Consumers Digest Best Buy in its launch year speaks well of Chrysler Group’s efforts recently.”
The other six vehicles were no strangers to the list, but Chrysler Group was happy to see them return all the same:
- Chrysler Town & Country (Minivan)
- Dodge Durango (Full-Size SUV)
- Dodge Grand Caravan (Minivan)
- Fiat 500 (Subcompact)
- Jeep Grand Cherokee (Midsize SUV)
- Ram 1500 (Pickup)
Consumer Digest selects its top ranking vehicles by looking at how much value a model provides (for the money) in each segment. Various factors are used to determine value.
