Customize 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 with Midnight and Rally Editions

The 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 made a striking appearance at the State Fair of Texas yesterday, revealing two special editions to make the formidable truck even more of a showstopper on the road. Drivers can order the Midnight and Rally special editions next month for dealership arrival later in the year.

“Customer choice is a competitive advantage for Chevrolet, because no two truck drivers are alike,” said Mark Sobczynski, Silverado marketing manager. “Whether it’s the sinister Midnight Edition or a sporty Rally Edition — special editions offer our customers a custom look direct from the factory that fits their unique personality.”
Midnight
The Midnight Edition is ideal for drivers who want to take the LT Trail Boss and Custom Trail Boss trims of the 2020 Silverado 1500 off road. Drivers can elevate their truck with a 2-inch factory suspension lift. The Midnight Edition cloaks the Trail Boss trim in black — Silverado badging, Bowties, grille, off-road assist steps, bumpers, and exhaust tips are all black. The Midnight Edition of the LT Custom Trail Boss is powered by a 420 horsepower rated 6.2-liter V8 engine paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It’s also rated at 460 lb-ft of torque.
Rally
The Custom and RST trims can be equipped with the Rally Edition. A 2.7-liter Turbo engine and eight-speed automatic transmission powers the Custom trim, which also boasts 20-inch black painted wheels with the Rally Edition. Larger wheels, 22-inch black painted wheels, ground the RST Rally Edition. Drivers can choose between the 2.7-liter Turbo, a 5.3-liter V8, or a 6.2-liter V8 to power the RST Rally Edition — an eight-speed automatic transmission is paired to both the 2.7-liter Turbo engine and the 5.3-liter V8 while the 6.2-liter V8 is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
