From what Dodge has officially revealed about the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon so far, it is clear to see that this is a model built with performance in mind. The latest teaser video from Dodge further demonstrates how performance is the key factor in everything that the Demon does.

Dodge revealed quite a bit of information in this teaser, namely that the the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon’s Uconnect system will come equipped with driver-oriented “Performance Pages.” These Performance Pages, which can be accessed through the Demon’s 8.4-inch touchscreen, provide drivers with an in-depth look at the real-time performance statistics of the vehicle.
Among the information provided by the Demon’s Uconnect Performance Pages are the following:
- Real-time graphic display of horsepower and torque with plotted gear changes.
- Real-time display of supercharger coolant temperature.
- Timers for 0-60 mph, 0-100 mph, eight-mile elapsed time, and quarter-mile elapsed time.
- Display of lateral and longitudinal g-forces.
- Gauge readings for engine oil pressure and temperature, coolant temperature, transmission fluid temperature, intake air temperature, air-fuel ratio, and battery voltage.
Additionally, much of the data displayed on the Performance Pages can be recorded in order to track performance changes. By doing so, drivers can create an archive of performance information to help improve their performance levels over time.
If you want to see these performance pages in action, check out the teaser video below:
The Demon’s Performance Pages will also let drivers choose between three different drive modes: Auto (Street), Drag, and Custom.
Auto Mode, also known as Street Mode, offers drivers the following:
- Multiple levels of engine performance
- Three levels of suspension
- Three levels of steering
Meanwhile, the Drag Mode offers the following:
- Multiple levels of engine performance
- One level of suspension
- One level of steering
- One level of transmission shifting
- One level of traction control

Perhaps most intriguing, however, is the Demon’s Custom Mode, which allows for nearly every performance combination available in both Street Mode and Drag Mode.
As a final piece of information, Dodge revealed that the Demon will come equipped with an After-Run Chiller, a first for any production model. This After-Run Chiller keeps the coooling fan and intercooler pump running until the engine reaches a targeted temperature, even after the engine itself is shut down.
By combining all of these new features together, Dodge has created a way for Demon drivers to perfect their performance. Now all that they need to know is just how powerful the Dodge Demon can be when it is pushed to its limits.
