Fiat Chrysler Walks Away with Multiple Top Spots in Total Quality Impact Awards
When you buy a new car, it’s likely you don’t want to scrimp when it comes to quality. And, one of the best ways to figure out which vehicles have the highest quality is to check out Strategic Vision’s annual Top Quality Impact (TQI) awards.
These awards are based on survey responses from more than 39,000 owners of new 2016 vehicles. Each owner is asked to look at more than 155 aspects of the customer experience to determine the quality of each model—and it looks like Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has left the majority of its customers satisfied.

In Strategic Vision’s 22nd annual Total Quality Impact awards, four Fiat Chrysler vehicles came out on top in their segments. The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was the first ranked vehicle in the Entry SUV segment, while the Fiat 500 took home the Micro Car segment. The Specialty Coupe segment was taken by the Dodge Challenger, while the Jeep Grand Cherokee won the Mid-Size SUV class.
But that’s not all—the Fiat brand also tied for first among carmakers as the best brand with vehicles under $26,000.

“We see time and again that for consumers, innovation does more to communicate quality than an absence of problems does,” said Christopher Chaney, Senior Vice President of Strategic Vision. “Whether it comes in the form of breakthrough technology, re-engineering a vehicle, or creating a new model, consumers feel the positive impact of bold new directions taken by manufacturers.”
This is the second year in a row that the Fiat 500 and Dodge Challenger won their segments. It is also the third year in a row that the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has come out on top.
