Barrett-Jackson to Auction Off First Corvette Z06 Convertible
Barrett-Jackson is known for selling a lot of Chevrolet’s firsts. First Stingray coupe, first Stingray convertible, first Z06 coupe, and now, the first Corvette Z06 convertible. The model will be auctioned off this January at the Scottsdale auction, and we’ll give you three guesses who likely bids more than a million for charity to take this baby home.

Rick Hendrick. (If it took you more than the first guess, please don’t play this game again, because you’re just awful.) Hendrick has a history of snatching up Chevrolet’s best and slapping down jaw-dropping amounts that most of us could never dream of possessing. We’d be surprised if that didn’t happen again.
The Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction will be held from January 10 – 18, 2015, so if you want to take on Mr. Hendrick to get that first Corvette Z06 convertible, mark it down in your calendars. And, you know, maybe ask for a cash advance or something.
