Ford Transit at SEMA 2019 Shows Vans Can Shred, Too
When you think of custom vans, you probably imagine shag carpet, disco balls, and sweet dragon graphics. Ford wants to expand that perception a bit, and it’s aiming to do so at the 2019 Specialty Equipment Market Association show. Several Ford Transit vans will be among the 50+ Blue Oval vehicles on display at the show, which takes place from Nov. 5-8. Among them: the rad-looking SpeedVegas Ford Transit and the versatile Polvoorde Racing/Outside Van Ford Transit.
New Ford Transit at SEMA 2019
2020 SpeedVegas Ford Transit
This custom Ford Transit fills the role of designated shuttle for the new 100-acre SpeedVegas experience. Offering thrill seekers the chance to drive high-performance exotic cars, the racing school will use the red-wrapped 12-passenger Transit to get customers to the track in style. In addition to the sweet SpeedVegas vinyl wrap, this Transit boasts a distinctive face, all-wheel drive, Weld Racing wheels, MOMO tires and seats, Brembo brakes, and a 5-inch-lower suspension.

2020 Polvoorde Racing/Outside Van Ford Transit
The brainchild of off-road racer Christopher Polvoorde, the 2020 Polvoorde Racing/Outside Van Ford Transit is made to carry everything from snowboards and mountain bikes to kayaks and fishing poles. Setting aside its distinctive wrap, the Transit stands out the most by swapping out wheels for tracks, letting it conquer just about any terrain. The 2020 Polvoorde Racing/Outside Van Ford Transit doubles as a camper with accommodations for up to four, including water, heat, air, solar power, and a boot and glove heater. It also features a booming Kicker stereo system, because what’s adventure without the tunes?
These and other Ford vehicles will be on display at the 2019 SEMA Show next month. Keep your eyes peeled!
