The Cruze earned a USN score of 8.5 out of 10, and boasts 22.7 cubic feet of cargo space. With the rear seats folded down, the space increases to 47.2 cubic feet.

2019 Chevy Sonic

For the hatchback option of the 2019 Sonic, look to the LT Trim, which according to U.S. News & World Report writer Steven Loveday, has a cargo capacity that “tops most other subcompact cars.” With the seats folded down, you’ll have 47.7 cubic feet of space to fill. You’ll also appreciate cruise control, power windows, and satellite radio on the LT trim.

2019 Chevy Bolt

The Bolt earned a USN score of 8.3 out of 10, and features 16.9 cubic feet of cargo space. When the second row seats are folded flat, the Bolt delivers 56.6 cubic feet of cargo space.

“The Bolt offers a roomy cabin with a decent-sized rear cargo hold. Folding down the second-row seats provides plenty of room for transporting larger objects,” writes Loveday.

2019 Chevy Spark

The Spark features 11.1 cubic feet of cargo space, and that expands to 27.2 cubic feet with the second row seats are folded down.
