Get Ready For the Nissan Sentra NISMO
We’ve been speculating about the latest Nissan NISMO vehicle, and it seems as if we won’t have to wait much longer. Not that it’s much of a surprise anymore, since the vehicle was spied testing in May of this year, but the upcoming addition to the NISMO family will be a Nissan Sentra NISMO, and if the reports are to be believed, it will be unveiled at next month’s LA Auto Show.
A debut at the LA Auto Show is appropriate, since three years ago the Nissan Sentra NISMO concept was unveiled at the same show. According to AutoGuide, the Sentra NISMO will have a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with more than 240 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque under the hood.
The Nissan Sentra NISMO will also hopefully be equipped with more special features when the full details are released by Nissan. The Sentra joins the Nissan Juke, 370Z, and GT-R in the family of Nissan models with special performance trims, so it has a lot to live up to. Since the Sentra is traditionally a more affordable vehicle, it will be interesting to see if the Nissan Sentra NISMO is turned into a gateway for the NISMO brand, or if it will maintain the same premium pricing as the other models.
The LA Auto Show is scheduled from November 18th-27th, so we really don’t have long to wait before we learn more about this new car. Start saving your pennies now so that you can be first in line to purchase it.
