ACDelco introduces Cabin Air Filter at ACMA Automechanika

Today at the third annual ACMA Automechanika show in New Delhi, ACDelco launched its exclusive “Cabin Air Filter” product program.

ACDelco, a division of General Motors Technical Centre India, supplies a wide range of light repair maintenance auto parts to the industry, and also acts as the exclusive Original Equipment parts brand for Chevrolet and other GM brands.

The company’s newly launched Cabin Air Filters are made with high-quality multiple fiber layer media and were designed to trap up to 95% dirt, dust, pollen and other pollutants. The new filter improves airflow and aids in the defrosting performance of air conditioning systems.

“Our constant endeavor is to provide world class products to our customers and create a niche in ‘all makes all models’ after-market business. We will strive to increase ACDelco’s footprint in India through new programs and adding more direct distributors, retailers and distribution centers”, said Markus Sternberg, Vice President, Aftersales & Customer Experience of Chevrolet India Pvt. Ltd.

Over the next few months, ACDelco says it plans to roll out six new product programs, while continuing to grow and multiply its filtration revenue line at a prolific pace.

“Keeping in mind the degrading cabin air quality which accounts for harmful air pollution, the new ‘Cabin Air Filter’ will meet the rising demand of the product in the passenger car segment. The filters are built to suit most of the new generation vehicles today,” said ACDelco India Director Rajesh Nangia.

In 1997, ACDelco established itself as a part of the General Motors India initiative in the “All Makes All Models” aftermarket parts business, and today supplies a diverse range of over 1,000+ parts sent out to 20 states and 105 towns in the country via its 9 distribution centers.
