GMC Continues to Reveal 2018 Terrain One Piece at a Time
Update: The 2018 Terrain has been revealed, and here are a bunch more pictures to prove it
Tomorrow is the kick-off of the 2017 North American International Auto Show, but GMC is getting a jump start on things by revealing the 2018 Terrain tonight. To help prep its fans, the brand revealed a teaser image on its Facebook page this past Wednesday depicting the 2018 GMC Terrain’s floating roofline. In the days since, GMC has ramped up its tantalizing with a few more pics.

On Friday, GMC posted the following image, which depicts the 2018 Terrain’s exhaust tip:
The caption—“In two days, everything will be turbocharged”—seems to support the idea that the Terrain will follow the lead of the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox and receive 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter turbo engines. Also, hey, it’s chrome tipped, and that sure is fancy.
On Saturday, GMC posted the following image:
This confirms that the 2018 Terrain will receive C-shaped headlamps in a similar fashion to that of the new Sierra and Acadia. There’s also just a snifter of grille to whet your appetite.

Finally, on Sunday, mere hours before the big reveal, GMC dropped this bomb:
While a bit less obvious than the previous images, this appears to be a look at the 2018 Terrain’s new center console. You can see a storage bin that will likely be marketed as being particularly effective at housing electronic devices or purses, as well as the edge of some fancy-looking cup holders. Through the console, you can see a door speaker—it appears to be Bose. Breaking news: 2018 GMC Terrain will have sound system.
GMC has revealed that all will be revealed tonight at 6:45 pm on a Facebook livestream, which will emanate from the Museum of Contemporary Detroit Art. Stay tuned.
