The new Honda CR-Z hybrid launches November 3rd, and there’s a lot of hype behind the new model.

Starting with the exterior, we’re looking at one of the more aggressively styled hybrids on the market, which should prevent any road ridicule when compared to driving a more subdued hybrid. This thing has sleek lines and sharp contours that channel performance vehicles.

This refocus on sportiness continues on into the interior, with a new center console that Honda’s press release says creates “an even sportier cockpit feel.” You can be sporty and technologically savvy, too, with a 7-inch display audio touchscreen that comes standard on every trim level.

The 2016 CR-Z Hybrid yields an estimated 36/39 mpg in city/highway traffic, good for 37 mpg combined.

Brand new features include the aforementioned center console with armrest and Display Audio, as well as an Electric parking brake, Smart Entry and Push Button Start/Stop standard with the base model. Additional enhancements such as leather seats, Honda LaneWatch and navigation are available for premium trims.

The MSRP for the 2016 Honda CR-Z Hybrid ranges from the entry-level $20,295 for the LX with 6-speed manual transmission to $25,090 for the new EX-L with standard navigation.
